TWICE has officially announced their JAPAN DOME TOUR 2026 - five shows across four Japanese domes, including two consecutive nights at Tokyo Dome, which holds 55,000 fans per show. It is the largest Japan touring footprint in the group's career, and for ONCEs who have followed the nine-member group since their 2015 debut, it is a milestone that carries enormous emotional weight.

Japan has always been TWICE's second home. They were the first K-pop group to hold five consecutive sold-out concerts at Tokyo Dome, the first to top Oricon's weekly album chart with a Korean-language record, and consistently rank among the top five touring acts in Japan regardless of nationality. This new tour expands on that legacy by adding venues - Osaka-jo Hall, Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka PayPay Dome - that have not hosted TWICE since their 2022 run.

Nayeon shared a personal video message in Japanese to announce the tour, visibly emotional as she described what performing in Japan means to her. Momo, the only Japanese member among the nine, has spoken in past interviews about the particular significance of dome performances in her home country - a sentiment that resonated strongly with fans both in Japan and across the wider ONCE global community.

The tour will support TWICE's forthcoming 2026 studio album, details of which have not yet been released. JYP Entertainment has confirmed only that the album is in its final stages and will precede the dome tour dates. Given the scale of the live commitment, expectations for the record are naturally elevated: a dome-scale production demands dome-scale music.

Jihyo closed the announcement with a line that has already become one of the most retweeted quotes in TWICE fandom history: "We will fill every seat. We promise." Tickets go on sale for fan club members first, with general sale dates to be announced. Take the TWICE discography quiz while you wait.
