(G)I-DLE has officially announced a massive expansion of their Super Lady World Tour, adding 30 new dates across North America, Europe, and - for the first time ever - Latin America. Cube Entertainment confirmed the news Tuesday, citing "extraordinary global demand that exceeded all projections" after the initial tour dates sold out within hours of going on sale.
From Arenas to Stadiums
The expansion is notable not just for its scale but for its ambition. Several of the newly added North American stops have been upgraded from arenas to stadiums, including a headline date at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey - a venue that seats over 80,000 and has only been headlined by a handful of K-pop acts in history. Soyeon, who serves as the group's leader, main rapper, and primary creative force, addressed the upgrade during a Weverse live: "We didn't ask for stadiums. NEVERLAND asked for stadiums. We just said yes."
A Self-Produced Powerhouse
The tour comes on the heels of (G)I-DLE's seventh mini album, which debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart and entered the Billboard 200 at number 12 - the group's highest US chart position to date. Miyeon and Minnie have both been credited with expanded songwriting roles on the project, continuing the group's reputation as one of the most self-sufficient creative units in K-pop.
Industry analysts point to the group's consistent artistic identity as a key factor in their touring growth. Unlike groups that rely heavily on external production teams, (G)I-DLE's music has been primarily shaped by Soyeon since debut, giving the group a sonic coherence that translates powerfully to a live setting. Their setlists weave seamlessly between the aggressive energy of tracks like "Nxde" and "Super Lady" and the atmospheric depth of "Allergy" and "Fate."
Latin America Debut
The Latin American leg - featuring stops in Mexico City, Sรฃo Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago - marks the group's first-ever concerts in the region. Shuhua hinted on social media that the Latin American shows would include exclusive stage elements not seen in other legs. Fan communities across Latin America have been organizing since the announcement, with Brazilian NEVERLAND trending the hashtag #IDLEemSP for over 12 hours straight.
Tickets for the expanded dates go on sale March 15 via Ticketmaster and local distributors, with NEVERLAND fanclub presale beginning March 12. Think you know everything about (G)I-DLE? Put your knowledge to the test with our (G)I-DLE quizzes.
